His research focused on the organo biomimetic catalysis. He received several competitive grants from external sources (including General Program and Youth program from NSFC). He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers as a corresponding author in world-renown chemistry journals such as JACS、Angew、PNAS and so on. One is in the area of precise synthesis based on additions: asymmetric organocatalytic construction of stereocenters, and another research interest is in the field of chemical biology: development and application of functional probes. He has filed 7 patents and published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers as a corresponding author in world-renown chemistry journals such as JACS、Angew、PNAS and so on. His independent publications were highlighted on Cover pictures (7). Two peer-reviewed papers were invited for the special issue, one of which was invited for the special issue on Homogeneous Catalysis from Young Investigators in Asia. Three papers were classified as highly cited papers by Web of Science. All his publications have received more than 1000 citations. His h-index is 19 (2019. 04).
