OVERVIEW ACADEMIC RESERCH TEACHING AND LEARNING PUBLICATIONS 新建主栏目 OVERVIEW 名称 Professor Yue Geng Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Yue Geng is Professor of Structural Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. Prof Geng’s principal research interests lie in the composite structures and in concrete materials, with particular research expertise on their time-dependent behaviours. Prof Yue Geng has co-authored 1 textbook, 3 book chapters and 40 SCI journal papers, and is good at both structural and material testing, numerical modelling and the development of design methods. She has been granted 10 patents and software copyrights by the Chinese government. The research results have been applied to the refined design of 15 long-span or high-rise structures. She is co-chairing the Chinese design standard for recycled concrete composite structures (CSCS) that issued by the China Steel Construction Society. She is included in the working group for the ‘Concrete materials terminology’ standard ISO/TC 71/AHG 1 and 7 other Chinese designing codes for composite structures or recycled concrete materials. She was awarded the first prizes for scientific and technological progress by the Hei Long Jiang Province Government (2nd contributor) and by the China Steel Construction Society (3rd contributor).
