1. Over the past five years, we have successfully executed a variety of projects, some of which include: a) Fire-Safe Pressure Sensitive Adhesives: This collaborative endeavor involved IMDEA Materials Institute (my previous research institute) and tesa Co. in Germany. b) High-Performance Wood Polymer Composites from Fique Fibres: Another joint project, this time between IMDEA Materials Institute and the University of Strathclyde in the UK. Additionally, numerous other fundamental and industrial projects have been completed, such as the development of innovative bio-based flame retardants for cotton fabrics and the creation of fiber-reinforced and flame-retarded polyamide composites for automotive applications.2. While some of the aforementioned projects were confidential industrial undertakings with no publication allowance, in other cases, we have generated multiple publications that have been successfully published in high-ranking journals.3. As previously noted, our research endeavors have focused on enhancing the fire safety of a wide range of polymer composites used in the automotive, construction, buildings, and aeronautics industries. The results obtained have added significant value to these sectors, ultimately improving the quality of life for individuals.4. The innovative technologies and knowledge we have developed have been shared with the university, where they have been instrumental in launching new projects and benefiting students.During the last years, I have been involved of variety of fundamental and industrial projects as executor ot the PI. The projects were partially industrial and the results were confidential and no publication allowed (a project between IMDEA Materials Institute and tesa Co. at Germany). But other projects result mainly published at very high-ranking journals. They were mainly based on high-performance polymer composites, novel eco-friendly and bio-based flame retardants for polymers and nanomaterials for advanced applications.
