She received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees in mechanical engineering from Tianjin University. She joined the faculty of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Tianjin University in 2008. Her research focuses on structure-property-process relations of advanced engineering, dental and biological hard tissue materials, design and manufacturing of biomedical device, and advanced machining technology innovation in medical applications. She have published over 20 peer-reviewed papers and 1 book chapter, and produced 7 patents.
