He earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2005, and his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Akron in 2012. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2016 with a focus on ultrasound transducer and imaging.  Dr. Wang is currently an Assistant Professor in Tianjin University, School of Precision Instrument & Opto-electronics Engineering, State Key Laboratory of Precision Measuring Technology & Instruments. His research focuses on noval ultrasound technology development, particularly in the area of ultrasound transducer, medical ultrasound and nondestructive testing.
