Her main research interests include phonetics and Chinese as a second language teaching and research. She received a master's degree in literature from the College of Chinese language and Culture, Nankai University in June 2000 and a doctorate in literature from the Chinese Language Department, School of Literature of Nankai University in June 2009. From November 2015 to November 2016, she was a visiting scholar at University of Queensland in australia. Since 2000, she has been teaching Chinese as a second language and has been teaching for 17 years and published a number of academic papers in the periodical of language teaching and research, national language, Journal of Tianjin University (social science edition) and other publications.
