He received B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Technology (2008) from Southeast University, and Ph.D (2013) in Environmental Engineering from University of Science and Technology of China. He was a post-doctoral staff member in Nankai University (2013-2015). In 2015 he joined the school of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tianjin University as associate professor.
