My research focuses on understanding crustal deformation, particularly the rheology of the continental crust. My work involves several key areas, including analyzing strain, vorticity, and rheological parameters of exhumed high-strain zones to determine the style and rheology of deep crustal deformation quantitatively. Additionally, I study geological structures in subduction-accretion systems to gain insights into oceanic subduction. Moreover, I develop tectonic models for oil or ore fields to provide reliable guidance for exploration, and employ physical or numerical modeling to establish progressive deformation in natural structures.   Before joining Central South University, I earned my Ph.D. and B.S. degrees in Geology from Jilin University in June 2019 and June 2014, respectively. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to visit The University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, TX, USA from 08/2018 to 03/2019, Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan in 06/2019, and Northwest University in Xi’an, China in 03/2023 to 07/2023 as a visiting student or scholar.
